Three female employees of The Velvet Touch massage parlor were arrested Tuesday afternoon, after they allegedly solicited undercover law enforcement officers for prostitution, authorities said Wednesday.
The parlor, on the 1600 block of Fulton Avenue, was visited Tuesday by agents from the Sacramento County Sheriff Department's Special Investigations Intelligence Bureau, Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Tim Curran said.
No other details about the undercover operation were available.
Lee Ngac Miller, 55, Phuong Ann Bolivar, 41, and Mylai Nguyen, 33, all of Sacramento, were arrested by the agents on suspicion of soliciting for prostitution and prohibited touching. Miller and Bolivar also were arrested on suspicion of unlawfully acting as massage practitioners without a license. Nguyen, identified as a massage therapist, and Bolivar also were arrested on suspicion of working in a massage business while not being clothed at all times.
All were booked into County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail each.
